The Magic Place

The Magic PlaceThe Magic Place is a delightful, engaging series targeting the preschool viewer. The program captures the interest and attention of the young viewer by expanding their experiential backgrounds as they are taken to new "places". Grounded in strengthening the observation and processing skills of the preschooler, this program serves as a builder of critical thinking skills by guiding the viewer through understanding our ways of gathering information, processing and reasoning. The puppets Bear Facts and Kelly Turtle visit their human friend, Miss Mystery at the Magic Place where all have fun while learning about the world around them. The series is full of bright, colorful images and graphics; the "magical" camera techniques and music stimulate the viewers visual, auditory and processing skills. The young audience is captivated and moved quickly in and out of venues of various learning styles and strategies by the integration of age appropriate presentations. Fifteen topics are explored, covering everything from symbols, families, animals of the wild and more!
